So, the No. 1 Team of Tests won the only test series against Zimbabwe. Well, as we all know that there is no comparison between Zimbabwe & South Africa in any format of very dangerous game Cricket.. :P South Africa Is dangerous team specially in test matches. South Africa has more satisfied & World Class Bowling lineup & Batting too. Let's talk about South Africa's Bowling lineup, DW Steyn, M Morkel, Vernon Philander, Imran Tahir & now the Debutant Piedt make South Africa's Bowling lineup really stronger. DW Steyn Bowled Awesome in this test match Dale Steyn took 8 Wickets, He gave 84 runs, with average of 10.50 & 1.90 Economy. DW Steyn Delivered total 33 overs in whole Match, 20 Maiden Overs. His best bowling in an innings was 5/46 that's good!
Now the second one is the Debutant DL Piedt. He bowled well in his first Test Match. Debutant DL Piedt's awesome bowling was pretty much awesome for me. :P DL Piedt also took 8 wickets but he gave too much runs, 152. He bowled just 4 Maidens out of 39 overs. His best was 4/62 In an innings with high Average of 19.00 and 3.10 Economy. But DL Pied was Impressive, He was playing his first International Test Match, He performed well.
Morne Morkel bowled average, He bowled 12 Maidens out of 34 overs and took 3 wickets, with the average of 18.00 and economy of 1.58. Morkel's economy rate was much better then any of the bowler playing from both the sides. VD Philander failed to bowl good, He took 1 Wicket in whole match, I think He was not comfortable in those situations. D Elgar, JP Duminy also took part in bowling, but they both couldn't bowled good. They didn't took any wickets.
In Batting Faf du Plessis is on No. 1 In most runs in the series. He scored 103 runs in both innings of the match. D Elgar posted 82 runs on the board, it's sad that He was couldn't scored his Century. Q de Kock the Wicket-Keeper of South Africa. He Scored 81 Runs in an Innings, but Unfortunately De Cock missed His Century once again. JP Duminy posted Fifty(55 runs) on the board. but AN Petersen couldn't scored fifty, He scored 49 Runs. But the Captain of The South Africa Failed in this match, He played 1 innings & scored only 4 runs, that was not good performance as a Captain. But it doesn't matter, because South Africa won only test series against Zimbabwe due to Hashim Amla's captaincy.
Zimbabwe is a weak team but they did well according to their batting & bowling. How Zimbabwe can beat em'? beating South Africa Is Not easy to beat No. 1 test team easily, Zimbabwe played well, but couldn't win the test. Let's wish them Good Luck for the ODI Series. :)
